Full-text articles from Portland Press are now being deposited automatically into UK institutional repositories via a live feed into Jisc’s Publications Router service.
Automated deposit straight into institutions’ systems
Portland Press, the publishing arm of the Biochemical Society, is providing open access articles with corresponding authors affiliated to institutions that have taken up its read and publish transformative agreement. Publications Router delivers matched articles to UK institutions to which any of the authors are affiliated, placing them straight into their repositories or research information management systems.
Swift deposit from all journals
The arrangement covers all of Portland Press’s journals with coverage across the molecular biosciences, and includes articles published in both hybrid and wholly open access journals.
The articles are supplied as the published version of record. They are deposited within a week of publication, reaching institutions normally within five weeks of acceptance for publication.
