Community events
Monthly meet-ups are hosted by the Digital research community (DRC) group, which is facilitated by Jisc and open to anyone working in higher education research.
The DRC holds regular meet-ups on a range of topics on Microsoft Teams and also has a dedicated JiscMail. Resources from the meeet-ups are saved on the DRC Teams site. To find out more about the group, and to request to join the Teams site and/or the JiscMail, please visit the DRC website.

Title: Rights retention for long form (working title)
Date/time: Weds. 8 July 2026 (11am)
Overview: In this meet-up, we’ll hear from three UK HE libraries – Aberdeen, , St. Andrews and LSE – all of whom have included some form of longform in their institutional rights retention policies. Speakers will share their experiences of drafting and implementing these policies. There will be plenty of time for discussion so come armed with questions!
