De Gruyter is now supplying full-text journal articles to Jisc’s Publications Router service, which then places them automatically into UK institutional repositories.
Speedy delivery saves time and effort
De Gruyter, an independent academic publisher with headquarters in Berlin, is depositing open access articles from all of its journals, whether wholly open access or hybrid, as soon as they are first published online. This is nearly always within three weeks of acceptance, helping institutions pre-empt the need for any manual entry. The articles are accompanied by rich, authoritative metadata, which also sets out details of the relevant Creative Commons licence, avoiding the need for any further investigation.
Broad subject coverage
The articles represent the full range of De Gruyter’s coverage, including subjects as diverse as linguistics, mathematics, business and economics, medicine, history, social sciences, physical and life sciences, engineering, literary studies, philosophy, law and many more. This helps institutions to address the challenge of capturing their outputs in subjects sometimes not easy to obtain via automated workflows.
