The Geological Society of London supplies full-text articles to Publications Router

The Geological Society of London is now depositing full-text articles to Jisc’s Publications Router service for onward distribution to UK institutional repositories.

Prompt delivery of journal articles and book chapters

The new live feed consists of open access articles from their hybrid and fully open access journals, together with open access book chapters. These arrive into Router upon first publication of the published version of record. Router then automatically analyses the accompanying metadata, matching each article to the institutions to which any of the authors are affiliated, and delivers them straight into their relevant repositories or research information systems.

In nearly all cases, this means that they will arrive into repositories within 8 weeks of acceptance for publication – and often much earlier.

Open licence, no embargo

All of these articles and chapters are made available under a CC BY licence, as detailed in the accompanying rich, authoritative metadata, and may be exposed on repositories immediately upon receipt.
